Banks Object to Settlement
Our necessary, but greedy banking system doesn’t want to pay up for the mortgage debacle. Citi Bank complains the fines are to exorbitant for the size of their crime.
I do believe that the punishment should fit the crime, however, I also believe that individuals should be held accountable, someone should have gone to jail and I don’t mean clerks and low level managers. I am convinced that criminal charges and incarceration would have a bigger impact than fines and penalties. So the beat goes on and uncontrolled greed will take us down this path again.

To Big To Manage
I have a firm belief that, even with super computers, there is a point where companies are just to big to manage. There are too many levels of management and upper management is so far removed from the day to day operation of the business that they really don’t know what is going on. Here is a good example.

I wonder who will be the scapegoat on this one.
